Hello guys,
A new release of GNUPanel is ready to download. As you can read in gnupanel.org the project is formally open to developers since yesterday.
It took a lot of work but we are very pleased with the results, the improved installation process will simplify that many of you test the program and share your experiences with us.
Enjoy! |

I have a virtual server in slicehost.com with 256 MB and it is completely saturated by gnupanel. It was configured by gnutransfer and not by me. I suppose they know what they are doing. They told me that it is saturated by postgres but I don't think it should take up so much memory. A friend has the same hosting plan and although he does not have postgres, he has ruby on rails with 10 domains working ok. All I have is a mailing list and the memory is 100% used.
If you are going to install gnupanel, I suggest you wait untill gnupanel has a better eficiency and a better user interface. _________________ Greetings/Saludos

I'm sure you had this problem but it is not a common situation.
We have at least 6 VPS servers with 256, 384 and 2048 MB of memory running GNUPanel and they are working fine. |

I thought the people from GnuTransfer were the main developers. I thought that if they couldnt make it light, then it was because the product was heavy on use of RAM. _________________ Greetings/Saludos

Yes, GNUtransfer is the company behind GNUPanel from the beginning.
They provide VPS servers with GNUPanel preinstalled.
Please write to our spanish forum or write to gnutransfer. This post was just an announcement. |
